These filters will never develop any pinholes or other imperfections that can let light in and ruin a filter. They are lightweight and do not require rebalancing your tube assembly.

The flat surface, compared to other thin film filters, is wrinkle-free and does not have any creases. It is virtually indestructible- won't tear or puncture! The Clear Aperture refers to the filter size in the center of the cell, while the outside diameter (OD) of the aluminum cell refers to the inside cell wall that fits over and around the telescope tube. The OD of our cells needs to be at least 1/16" larger than the OD of the telescope tube or binocular barrel. You want to make sure to choose the closest cell OD that is LARGER than the OD measurement of your instrument. Self adhesive felt is included for custom fitting.
