iOptron's NUC Computer Ready Mounts
The NUC (Next Unit of Computing) series of mounts from iOptron pair perfectly with Intel NUC mini computers. NUC mounts feature a well-positioned bracket at the lower front area of the saddle, securely holding the mini computer in place. There are also some provisions for mount control connections (LAN and USB) and power 19V (optional 12V) conveniently placed next to the NUC computer.
With a red anodized CNC body, it looks sharp however its beauty is more than skin deep. The head weighs in at only 17.4-pounds yet can support a payload of up to 40-pounds. An integrated electronic polar finder scope (iPolar) ensures accurate alignment even at times when the pole star is obscured. Large levers on its quick-lock drive engagement system make it easy to snap its gears into place even when wearing gloves. There's little chance of your cables getting snagged with the CEM40's internal cable management system.
The CEM40 incorporates iOptron's new, patent- pending Universal Self-Centering Saddle (USCS) it accommodates Losmandy and Vixen style dovetail plates. The CEM40 utilizes their ultra-quiet low power consumption stepper motor drive systems. Other features such as onboard GPS, 212,000+ object library with star identification make these extremely portable and capable mounts sure winners.
With the CEM40EC-NUC model, you will receive a CEM40EC mount that is compatible with the NUC mini computer and is equipped with high resolution RA encoders for real time PEC (RPEC). Also in this package are a 1.75" LiteRoc tripod, iPolar electronic polar scope, 11 lb counterweight, counterweight shaft, and a Go2Nova 8407+ hand controller with cord and hard case!
