The Meade Basic Camera Adapter is the simplest way to get started on taking pictures of the Moon and planets through your telescope! It attaches to your telescope by sliding into either the 1.25-inch focuser or eyepiece holder, and then your SLR or DSLR camera attaches to the other end of the adapter via a T-Mount (user supplied) made specifically for your camera brand (Nikon, Canon, etc.).
An appropriate eyepiece is inserted into the barrel of the Meade 1.25-inch Basic Camera Adapter and locked down by turning the thumbscrew, and the magnified image of the object is projected onto the camera film plane. This is called "eyepiece projection" photography, and it is lots of fun.
- Attaches to your SLR or DSLR camera on one end and your telescope on the other.
- Allows you to do either prime focus or eyepiece projection photography.
