Download the free SynScan Pro app for both iPhone, Android, and more to control the GoTo functions of this highly-precise tracking mount via the included WiFi adapter. Choose from over 42,000 unique objects in the smartphone app. The mount will quickly slew to it at a rate of 3.4°/sec (800x). After that, the mount will then keep your object centered as it tracks across the sky.

The EQ6-Ri’s autoguider port and USB port can also be used to connect to your favorite PC or other astrophotography controller for guiding, while the snap port is ready to control your DSLR's shutter.

The included and illuminated polar scope makes polar alignment for this German equatorial mount easy and accurate. Or use the SynScan Pro app to align when Polaris is not visible. Minimal vibration and built-in permanent periodic error correction ensures that stars stay round during long exposures with today's advanced astrophotography cameras.

The Sky-Watcher EQ6-Ri Pro Is Almost Silent

The Sky-Watcher EQ6-Ri can handle your full kit, including large telescopes, guide scopes, astro cameras, filter wheels, and other imaging accessories thanks to a generous 44lb weight capacity. The two 11 lb. counterweights can be independently adjusted across the retractable counterweight shaft, meaning you’ll have no trouble balancing heavier telescopes and imaging systems.
