Description

The planetary camera ASI533 features Sony's latest back illuminated IMX533 sensor, high sensitivity, and zero glow. With a 1" square sensor format, it is ideal for astronomical photography.

1" Square Frame

The IMX533 is a 1" square format that is ideal for astronomical photography. With a 3.76 um pixel size, the ASI533 is capable of producing frames at 20 frames per second in 14 bit mode. Read out noise is as low as 1.0e which makes it comparable to SCMOS or EMCCD sensors and highly suitable for high definition, low noise imaging.

STARVIS

ASI533 can be regarded as an upgrade product of ASI183 series. It's equipped with SONY STARVIS CMOS sensor, which has a better effect when shooting at night. It has the advantages of zero amp glow, a large full well, low readout noise, and a high dynamic range.

USB .0 & 256M DDR3 Memory

The ASI533 is equipped with a USB 3.0 interface, and the 256MB DDR3 memory ensure stable downloading of frame with increased USB speeds and effectively reduces the glow caused by slow readout speed.

Zero Amp Glow

ASI533 uses a no-glow circuity to ensure the best quality images regardless of gain or exposure length.

Upgrade Iterative

Compared with ASI183 series, ASI533 has been fully upgraded.

Camera Curve

Low read noise, high dynamic range.

Quantum Efficiency

Based on ZWO's calculations, the peak quantum efficiency of the ASI533MC is greater than 80%.

Dark Current Noise

Protect Window

The ASI533 camera sensor is equipt with a protective window, with a diameter of 32mm and a thickness of 2mm. ASI533 uses an AR coated filter.
